Sharon A. Coale, M.S., CCC-SLP has owned an active private practice since 1999 dedicated to the treatment of orofacial myofunctional disorders, complex and difficult to treat articulation and oral-motor impairments, and receptive and expressive language disorders. Prior to going out on her own, she worked as a full-time speech-language pathologist in a well-known private practice in Bethesda, Maryland (with which she continues to maintain a part-time contract affiliation), worked in Florida in the Palm Beach County School System, and spent 6 years in rehabilitation and acute care hospital settings.
