Sharon A. Coale, M.S., CCC-SLP has owned an active private practice since 1999 dedicated to the treatment of orofacial myofunctional disorders, complex and difficult to treat articulation and oral-motor impairments, and receptive and expressive language disorders. Prior to going out on her own, she worked as a full-time speech-language pathologist in a well-known private practice in Bethesda, Maryland (with which she continues to maintain a part-time contract affiliation), worked in Florida in the Palm Beach County School System, and spent 6 years in rehabilitation and acute care hospital settings.

Sharon thoroughly enjoys the luxury of one-on-one interactions with children, adults and their families. She loves helping people improve their self-esteem, speech, health and appearance through the education and treatment that she provides.

Sharon has been married since 1983 and is extremely proud of her husband and 3 wonderful children. She adores flower gardening, loves exercising and reading, and she is passionate (and loud!) while watching her favorite sports teams. Go Maryland Terrapins! Go Princeton Tigers! Go Baltimore Ravens!
